Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. They were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals, each with specific targets to be achieved over the next decade. Here's an overview of the goals:
No Poverty: End poverty in all its forms everywhere.
Zero Hunger: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.

Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
Partnerships for the Goals: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
The SDGs are interconnected and indivisible, meaning that progress in one area often influences progress in others. Achieving these goals requires concerted efforts by governments, businesses, civil society, and individuals worldwide. The 2030 Agenda emphasizes the importance of partnership and collaboration to address complex global challenges and build a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
