Women Graduates–USA Partners
WG–USA is honored to have the following partners:
Commission on Voluntary Service Action (CVSA) is the voice for independent, non-government voluntary service and action organizations serving people and communities in need of systemic solutions to critical economic, social and environmental problems communities and nations are facing today. CVSA holds Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (UN). CVSA has a special focus on voluntary action to achieve the UN Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). CVSA works together with WG–USA on its core issues as they relate to sustainable development.
Institute of International Education – Scholar Rescue Fund (IIE-SRF) works to save the lives, voices, and ideas of threatened scholars around the world by providing fellowships and safe academic environments to scholars, professors, researchers, and public intellectuals who face threats in their home countries. IIE-SRF year-long fellowships support visiting appointments at partnering higher education institutions anywhere in the world that allow scholars to continue their work in safety. WG–USA partners with IIE-SRF to support threatened and displaced women scholars who are experiencing internal strife and natural disasters in their home countries.
Women Graduates–USA Organizational Memberships
Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) brings international education leaders from around the world into dialogue with each other, organizations that promote international education, and organizations that are concerned with the shaping and management of international higher education. AIEA gives members opportunities to join forces, share institutional strategies, and provide an effective voice on matters of public policy.
Institute of International Education – Scholar Rescue Fund Alliance is a global network of partners who offer practical support to threatened and displaced scholars, such as temporary academic positions, professional development and career advancement opportunities, and other critical assistance. It facilitates information-sharing and collaboration between IIE-SRF and its partners and provides the opportunity for Alliance partners to utilize IIE-SRF resources and expertise.
