The New Global Economy is characterized by uncertainty. We are witnessing episodic changes in the world as historic alliances among countries and global agreements are disrupted.
Collectively, we are struggling to understand the impacts of these far-reaching changes on our personal lives as well as on social, economic and environmental progress around the world. As graduate women we are asking ourselves: How can we meet the impending, still undecipherable challenges of the new economy? How can we build on our previous personal and professional development to advance in the world of work? How will structural and policy changes affect our volunteer work? How can we build knowledge and opportunity in a changing world? How can we find purpose and progress in the midst of seeming chaos?
This webinar will help graduate women begin to create a paradigm for action by doing the following:
· Expanding our knowledge of the New Global Economy
· Assembling our concerns about the impacts of economic uncertainty
· Helping us re-frame these impacts to gain new insights
· Supporting creativity in our problem-solving
· Identifying our strengths and how we organize ourselves around these strengths to achieve our professional and volunteer goals
