WOMEN GRADUATES–USA MAKES A DIFFERENCE

WG–USA focuses on core women’s issues that have an international impact and relate to women and girls around the globe. We strongly believe in talking with, learning from, and networking with women around the world.  Building a global society of women demonstrates the respect and value WG–USA has for our shared gifts, abilities, insights, and knowledge.


Women Graduates-USA offers members options for participation

Educate

Through our research, communication and training, Women Graduates-USA informs and inspires our members around core issues impacting the lives and well-being of women and girls worldwide.

Women Graduates–USA provides small project grants to support research and study open to WG–USA members. WG–USA also support global women scholars in partnership with the Institute of International Education’s “Rescue Fellowship” Program.

Advocate

Women Graduates–USA offers webinars, webcasts, publications and outreach to support advocacy in action.  Our goal is to empower women and girls to achieve gender equity and self-determination.

WG–USA provides members with opportunities to influence U.S. federal legislation directly related to our mission, programs and advocacy goals, and at the United Nations through our status as a UN ECOSOC affiliated non-governmental organization.

Connect

Women Graduates–USA members are virtually connected across the U.S. and the globe using online meetings, webinars, digital publications, social media and conferences.   

WG–USA offers social support and mentoring for members at universities, in the workforce and all walks of life.  Through our network of GWI National Affiliates and colleagues in the UN community, WG–USA has international connections to promote equity and social justice.

Membership in Women Graduates–USA is open to any woman who has earned an undergraduate (four-year or equivalent) or more advanced degree, or is currently enrolled full- or part-time in an undergraduate program in active pursuit of a degree.
