Who We Are

About Women Graduates-USA

We are an organization seeking membership from women graduates who have an interest in international issues affecting women and children worldwide. We are affiliated with the International Federation of University Women (IFUW).

Keeping the mission uppermost, WG-USA aims to provide our membership with information, resource material, world-wide discussions through the Internet, suggested actions they can take in such areas as: policy issues that affect women and children everywhere, United Nations activities including those of the Commission for the Status of Women (CSW) and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG), international connections, and advocacy for USA policies such as the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women.

Women Graduates-USA is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan, virtual (online) organization.

Women Graduates-USA seeks its membership from graduate women living in the United States, or U.S. citizens living abroad, who are interested in international issues concerning women and children.

Our membership is scattered across the country and as such there are no localized groups. The organization will provide online activities such as discussion groups, resource material, networking capabilities with members from National Affiliates (NFAs) of the International Federation of University Women (IFUW), and plenty of opportunities to share experiences with other members both nationally and internationally.
